Christophe Belhomme
Chief Investment Officer, Europe
Industry experience: 17 years
Chief Investment Officer of FundQuest Europe, Christophe is responsible for strengthening the manager selection process, building portfolios and developing new products in the FundQuest range. Before joining FundQuest, Christophe was Head of Asset Allocation Portfolio Management for BNP Paribas Asset Management and responsible for tactical and absolute return portfolio management. Prior to this, Christophe held various positions linked to asset allocation and product management at BNP Paribas Asset Management. Christophe was a Director of ACFI, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas’ actuarial department serving the institutional clients between 1994 and 2007. Christophe earned his diploma from the “Institut des Actuaires Français” (Institute of Actuaries) and his PhD in Economics from Pantheon-Sorbonne University.

Research/single-strategy portfolio management:
Guy Davies
Director, Head of European Equity Research
Industry experience: 17 years
Guy is an Executive Director of FundQuest and is Head of the European Equity team. Guy was a founding partner and Co-Chief Executive of MM Asset Management Ltd (formerly Attica Asset Management Limited) which was acquired by IMS in late 2005; IMS subsequently being acquired by FundQuest in 2008. Prior to this, Guy was an Investment Consultant with Mercer Investment Consulting, involved both in manager research and in the provision of consulting advice to trustees of corporate pension schemes ranging in size, sector and including both Final Salary and Defined Contribution arrangements. Guy holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Economic History from Bristol University and is an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP). He is also a Director of MM Institutional Funds plc and MM 360 Funds plc.
Hans Hamre
Director, Head of Global Equity Research
Industry experience: 21 years
Director, Head of Research and Head of the Global Equity team, Hans has more than 19 years industry experience. Before the acquisition by FundQuest, Hans has worked with IMS since 2005, having moved from Standard & Poor’s where he was Director of Research. Prior to this Hans spent a year at Friends Provident Asset Management, and five years with Commercial Union Asset Management. Hans also spent three years lecturing in economics. He is a CFA charterholder.
Peter Norton
Director, Head of Fixed Income and Alternative Investments Research
Industry experience: 35 years
Before the acquisition by FundQuest, Peter had worked with IMS as Director, Research since 2005. Peter has over 33 years of industry experience. He heads the Fixed Income and Alternative Assets team and has broad oversight responsibility for the research analysts based in Paris. Peter previously spent eight years with Standard & Poor’s Fund Research as a Research Director. Prior to moving to the UK in 1996, he worked in the US for over 20 years in a range of institutional investment positions. Peter is a CFA charterholder.

Thierry Creno
Head of Portfolio Managers - Paris
Industry experience: 19 years
Thierry Créno is a senior portfolio manager based in FundQuest’s Paris office. He has particular expertise in managing global balanced portfolios. Thierry was previously with CDC Ixis Asset management where he was a global fixed income and emerging markets portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was a global fixed income and balanced portfolio manager at Fortis Investment Management. Thierry began his career within the Foreign Exchange Markets sales team at Banque Indosuez. Thierry holds a postgraduate degree in banking and finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine (1992).
